Kati Knott- Assistant Workshop Coordinator
Kati Knott

Kati Knott is a native of Ingersoll, Ontario, Canada. Currently she lives in Warren, Michigan. She joined MDMPA in 2005 as Secretary and Co-Director of Fundraising.

She is currently the Assistant Workshop Coordinator under the Fundraising Committee.

Knott will receive a Hospice degree from Madonna University with a minor in Addiction Studies.

She is an ASL instructor and also provides tutoring services for Interpreters in training. She is a member of the Michigan Deaf Association.

Knott enjoys the outdoors, being with friends, reading, biking and hiking.

 




A Pageant First

July 28, 2007 will be the first time in history that Michigan will crown a Deaf Teen Queen.

The first teen pageant will be held at Kalamazoo State Theatre directed by Kendra Rose and Jamie Maes.

Contestants range from ages 13 to 17 and attend Michigan School for the Deaf or mainstreamed highs schools in the state of Michigan.

New MDMPA Website

On April 6th, 2007 the Miss Deaf Michigan Pageant Association launched their new website design.

On our new site we've made it easy for you to access information. Site features include, color themed categories for Miss, Teen and Junior sections.

We've also added a Flash Image Gallery of all of our previous photo archives.
