Jonathan Harucki - Treasurer

Jonathan Harucki is 4th generation Deaf, and a native of Stratford, Connecticut. He is a graduate of the American School for the Deaf in West Hartford, Connecticut. He received his Associate’s Degree in Civil Engineering Technology and Bachelor of Arts degree in Industrial Design from Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, New York.
At Rochester Institute of Technology, Harucki was a member of Kappa Phi Theta, a local Deaf fraternity. He held a number of positions including Treasurer, 9Th annual Banquet chairperson, Alumni Relater, Pledge master, Assistant Fundraiser, Merchandise Director and member of the committee of Social Directors.
Harucki is currently employed as a Tel-com Customer Service Specialist for AT&T, a fortune 500 company, and as an adjunct professor at Oakland Community College where he teaches American Sign Language.
Harucki is Treasurer for the Michigan Deaf Association. He is also a member of BMWCCA and enjoys cruising in his BMWs (530i and M3). During his spare time, he enjoys remodeling his home, walking his dogs, water skiing, biking and traveling around the world.
A Pageant First
The first Miss Deaf Teen Michigan, Karlee Gruetzner and Mr. Deaf Teen Michigan, Ray McCall will compete in the Mr. and Miss Teen Deaf America Pageant at Model Secondary School for the Deaf in Washington, D.C. on March 5-8th.

On April 6th, 2007 the Miss Deaf Michigan Pageant Association launched their new website design.
