Pet's names: I don't have one.
Best friends: Liri, Carol, Flora, Bianca, Julie, Mazen, Nicole and Marsha.
Favorite teachers: Mrs. Depolo, Mrs.Cohrs and Mr. Powell.
Family: I have 2 brothers and one sister. Their names are Marvin, Alvin and Marsha. I have an older brother who is Deaf who is 22. Alvin is 16 years old and very nice and very sweet. Marsha is 21. She knows Sign Language and understands what I say. My parents are Masoud and Inam, They support me and care about me.
Favorite subjects in school: English and Gym.
Favorite television shows: MTV and Friends.
Favorite actor/actress: My favorite actor is Will Smith because he's so funny and makes people laugh. My favorite actress is Jessica Alba.
Dream vacations: Jamaica , Italy , and Paris .
Travels: I went to Myrtle Beach in South Carolina . It was very beautiful. I loved the weather. I had a great tan and the people there were very nice.
Favorite Quote: "If I could be anything, I would be your tears so I can be born in your eye, live down your cheek, and die on your lips."
Motto/Principle to live by: "I believe that if you work hard you will succeed and find your dreams."
Where I want to be 5 years from now: Hopefully, an actress in the movies.
Most embarrassing moment: I have never been embarrassed.
My role model: My aunt Carol.
Additional things to know about me: It doesn't matter if a person is Deaf or anything like that. All that matters is that they have a good heart and are very caring. We are smart, caring, and very bright.
A Pageant First
July 28, 2007 will be the first time in history that Michigan will crown a Deaf Teen Queen.
The first teen pageant will be held at Kalamazoo State Theatre directed by Kendra Rose and Jamie Maes.
Contestants range from ages 13 to 17 and attend Michigan School for the Deaf or mainstreamed highs schools in the state of Michigan.

On April 6th, 2007 the Miss Deaf Michigan Pageant Association launched their new website design.
On our new site we've made it easy for you to access information. Site features include, color themed categories for Miss, Teen and Junior sections.
